BDCL Division 4 – Fixtures & Results

Division 4 of the Birmingham & District Chess League (BDCL) is where a lot of developing players and improving teams get their competitive chess journey underway. It’s a division that often produces some of the most unpredictable and exciting matches of the season.

Unlike the higher divisions where results can sometimes feel more routine, Division 4 is full of closely fought games, rapid improvement, and plenty of surprises along the way. Every board matters, and momentum can shift quickly from week to week.

This division is a great reflection of club depth across the league, with many clubs fielding newer players alongside more experienced competitors helping to guide the team.

What to Expect This Season

Across the season, Division 4 fixtures tend to be competitive and evenly matched. You’ll often see:
