At Longbridge Chess Club Academy, we occasionally take photographs and short video clips during coaching sessions, matches, and club events. These images help us promote the academy, celebrate achievements, and share updates with our community.
Because many of our members are under 18, we require parent or guardian consent before any images are used.
Purpose of this form
This form is used to collect permission for the use of photographs and video footage of children attending academy activities. Images may be used for:
- Club website
- Social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram)
- Printed materials (posters and flyers)
- Local press or news features
- Internal club promotion
You may choose exactly how your child’s images can be used.
Safeguarding & Privacy
We take safeguarding and privacy seriously. We will:
- Only use images with appropriate consent
- Avoid naming children unless specifically agreed
- Avoid using images that may be considered sensitive or inappropriate
- Store consent records securely in line with UK GDPR
Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting the club.
