Weekly Chess Lessons

A structured lesson will begin at 6pm every Tuesday, lasting approximately 30 minutes to one hour, depending on the topic. Lessons will cover the fundamentals of chess and help players build their knowledge step by step.

Topics will include opening principles, tactical patterns, checkmate techniques, planning and the basic principles needed to play better chess.

The rest of the session provides time to practise, play and put what you’ve learned into action with other members of the club.
